1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Hommie mobile application or website (collectively, the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Use of the App
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the App to harass, harm, or impersonate any person.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the App without our written permission.
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@hommie.app if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Listings and Third-Party Data
Listing information displayed in the App is sourced from third-party data providers and is provided “as is.” Hommie does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing data. Always verify listing details independently before making any real estate decisions.
5. User Content
By submitting reviews, comments, or other content (“User Content”) to the App, you grant Hommie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App. You represent that you own or have the right to share such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software comprising the App are the property of Hommie or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hommie and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Hommie, or third parties.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
